Supporters

Corporate and community sponsors are vital partners in our efforts to improve the lives of people in our communities. Thanks to their generous support, HandsOn Suburban Chicago is able to provide our community nonprofits with over $5 million of volunteer programming. This amounts to $12 of value for each dollar donated.

Platinum Partners

Our circle of supporters who have volunteered both considerable time and money are recognized as HandsOn Suburban Chicago's Platinum Partners. These partners have shown a commitment to serve their community above and beyond their financial contributions. Sponsors who dedicate over $10,000 and significant volunteer time to HandsOn Suburban Chicago and its services are offered recognition as a Platinum Partner for one year. Platinum Partners receive exceptional co-branding and recognition opportunities throughout a variety of media outlets.

HandsOn Suburban Chicago was pleased to partner with Altria to provide school supplies and backpacks to area children in need. Seventy volunteers participated to fill 1,000 backpacks with binders, composition notebooks, scientific calculators, filler paper, pens, pencils, and dividers. Altria employees helped to unload the supplies and pack them into the backpacks, many along with their families. Volunteers and HOSC staff created a fun and energetic environment where young and old were able to work as a team to complete the project. Because of the tremendous response from the backpack project, Altria and HandsOn Suburban Chicago committed to four new volunteer projects in the coming year. Altria also was a noted sponsor, sponsoring both the 2011 Impact Awards and the National 9/11 Flag Tour.
