Volunteer Center Staff
Here at TVC, we work closely with volunteers, nonprofits and other community partners to help them make a difference and improve the lives of their neighbors-- not to mention their own lives-- through meaningful service experiences.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
Court Appointed Service Elective

Since its founding in 1969, TVC has grown to become the largest volunteer center in Illinois, making just over 10,000 volunteer referrals in 2008/2009.

Many of these referrals occurred as a part of our volunteer programs, which connect youth, people who are retired or over 55 years old, skilled volunteers, and those fulfilling a court-ordered service term with the opportunity to make a difference in their community.

TVC Bee Mascot
The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) began with the belief in service and the idea that volunteers can create stronger communities and improve the lives of others.

By working closely with nonprofits, our organization has always worked to nourish and grow do-gooders in our community.
