Help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti
Volunteers to train for disaster preparedness are needed NOW!!
Violent storms, earthquakes, flooding, and man-made disasters can strike at any moment.
Fortunately, in the Chicago-land area we have well trained police, firemen, and other emergency management personnel who stand ready as first responders.
However, volunteers are needed now to serve in emergency preparedness activities and training.
Then if a disaster should occur, volunteers trained in emergency preparedness will be ready.
Additional volunteers may also be called to fill other vital needs at the time of the disaster.
If a disaster happens, look to The Volunteer Center to find out how you can help. We will provide information as to what, how much, when, and where help is needed.
