Welcome!
Thank you for choosing The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago's website to learn more about how YOU can connect and serve the community...
Since 1969, our center has been supporting, leading, initiating and promoting volunteerism. At any given time, we maintain a database of 300 plus volunteer opportunities, across a wide spectrum of social service outreach programs. We work in partnership with 140+ area social service agencies and schools, and place between 10,000 and 15,000 volunteers annually.
We serve the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County as well as northern DuPage County in Illinois.

Nominate a volunteer today! The Volunteer Center is now accepting nominations for our 2010 Volunteer Impact Awards, which celebrate outstanding volunteers in our area. If you know of a volunteer, or group of volunteers, whose service within the past year has made a real difference, nominating them for an Impact Award is a great way to share the story of their good works and thank them for all that they have done. We will be accepting nominations until March 5, 2010.
