Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
"The Experience of a Lifetime"
The Volunteer Center's RSVP program invites adults age 55 and over to use their life experience and skills to help those in need. Free placement will help you find a rewarding volunteer position in your community. Getting involved is the key to RSVP. Your hard work can solve problems, and you'll get back even more than you give.
Comments from some RSVP Volunteers ...
"I get personal satisfaction from knowing I've helped someone along life's way. RSVP keeps me active and gives a purpose to living."
"I love my volunteering. I love the people I visit and I think I make a difference in their lives. I really think I get more out of it than they do. I have made some wonderful friends in other volunteers."
"Volunteering is good therapy for me. It keeps me active and mentally alert, which is helping me live a longer, healthier life. Also, I have met many wonderful people, and formed many special friendships through my volunteer work."
