Skills-Based Volunteering

Skills-based volunteerism utilizes the skills, experience, talents and education of volunteers and matches them with the needs of non-profits and schools. By leveraging the talents and skills of community members and corporate partners, skills-based volunteering helps build non-profit capacity in order to achieve greater impact. Skills-based volunteers (SBV) can choose to use their personal or professional talents, work individually or in teams and take on long or short projects.
