Volunteer Connections

The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago uses a wide range of communications strategies to support the volunteer recruitment efforts of member agencies. This includes posting them to an online database, featuring them on our website, and promoting them through social media and other means. We also submit timely, pertinent volunteer needs for a weekly "Get Involved" column that is featured in the Daily Herald.

To submit a volunteer opportunity for promotion, member agencies can post them to our online database, or complete a volunteer needs form.

**Disclaimer: It can take up to two weeks for volunteer opportunities to be featured in our "Get Involved" column in the Daily Herald. Requests received by 10 a.m. on Wednesday will be published the following Thursday.
